Lol, alter our characters faces without our authorizations in order to force us to pay $9.99 to change them.
Good plan for making money...and losing players ^_^
(if this was actually true that is, which i doubt, if it were like that A-net wouldnt even be monitoring these threads)

Well I meant it as a silly comment (my dry humor); but yea... if I wanted to pay to change my looks, I could go play Maple Story. lol
Speaking of changing looks and all; did any one seem to notice the female rangers lost a cup size or so?.. or is it just my change in screen resolution? - the new bump mapping was killing my frame rates so I had to lower it.

Anyone that was a "tiny kind" when Xena was on, makes me feel very, very old...
Anyway, I have a shot of my own to add. Everyone's been asking if there are any male faces that have new problems.... Well, yes. Here's one:
He has worse than usual shadowing problems around his eyes in most lighting situations, and I'm not exactly sure what's up with the left (in the picture) eyelid. Looks like it might be a mapping error.
Also, from the side, do you see the white of the eyeball RIGHT in front of his iris? Well, that's not the white of his eyeball. That's the white of the waterfall behind him. You can look STRAIGHT THROUGH his nose! Poor guy.

The best place to test your character's face is right outside Sardelac sanitarium.
walk out and go right.
Theres an area that has fire/lightning/etc.
It has a very hard lighting where you can stand and rotate your character and see how the lighting hits their face.

Silv3r, Queen Christie, Solange, we all have the same Female Elementalist face.
If A-Net are reading this they can see the same 4-5 faces coming up again and again so, really, it looks like this issue is confined to just some specific ones. Surely they will notice we all posted on the same face and will do something about it. *Fingers crossed*.
Solange - nice morphing image, by the way.

good thing this is a game then. lol - course I like the female assassin body model. More athletic looking... if only she stood like a female and not a stick man. oh well.
Just looked at all my character faces. I can't tell any changes on any of them. I'm not a screen shot junky so I don't have any comparisons, but some of the bodies do look somewhat different. Armor clipping where it didn't use too, smaller body parts, the arms on the ranger and monk seem to almost detach when doing the dance emote. Other things I've not noticed before - maybe I'm just now paying attention?

The only way out is to allow players to change their characters faces, or in other words = have plastic surgery for free ^^

I am curious though, since Gaile has posted here twice, perhaps she will grace us with an answer to this:
Has the dev team been working on the ability to alter hair and faces via the players choice or something? Reason for question: Faces chaged multiple times; hair style changes... are they working on it and this is the reason for such strange changes.

That doesn't tell about new looks though. Animations I got (understand); but no mention on the ability to change the looks of the characters. Something more so important now as we read through this and see some are not happy with the new look the character has. Also, keeping in mind some of these are not PvP characters so deleting them and instant re-rolling them with new looks is not an ideal option. Going from 3 million exp with all skills and two protector titles is not something I wish to delete just to enjoy the look I want to keep or return to*.
*a point being made; I personally didn't tell a difference on my characters.

Update
In today's update it said, "Updated graphics for existing character faces." I wonder if that means that faces were made worse or that they were fixed. None of my characters faces have changed at all so I wouldn't know.
